The New Traditions Arts Committee is made up of teachers, parents and arts consultants who drive the school's visual art, music and performance programs. The committee is chaired by one or more parent representatives of the New Traditions PTA, who act as a liaison between the arts program and the greater parent community. Our arts teachers (known as consultants) bring years of teaching experience and practical experience to the creative programs they create for our students. The consultants work hand in hand with an Arts Coordinator (a position generally held by a faculty member at the school, such as a non-arts teacher) to create curriculum, programs and schedules that bring the greatest benefit to the student body in terms of art education.
